We use a number of third party providers to register domain name(s) for your use across a wide range of domestic and international domain extensions such as .com, .co.uk, .uk, .biz, .org.uk, .tv, .info, .london, .org, .eu, .eu.com and many more. We use different providers to try and get the best value for you and to use any specialist provider requirements, for example .eu.com domain names have to be registered through a specific provider and .eu domain names can now only be registered using a European Union based provider and for a client with a European address.
You can register as many domain names as you wish to help protect your identity, or to operate a website in different countries or languages, or to simply connect them all to the one website.
Domain names are registered to you for your use for a minimum of one year and can be registered for up to 10 years in some cases. We will register your domain name(s) to you for your use and set-up your DNS (Domain Name Server) settings for you to connect your domain names(s) with your hosting service and your email server whether that is with us or with a third party provider.
The cost of registering a domain name varies across domains and can vary over the number of years it is registered for. There are often special offers available from providers and we will always pass these on to you whenever we can. An element of the registration and renewal costs that we charge is to cover our work in setting up and subsequently managing your DNS settings - you may want a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection for example, or may want a sub-domain under your principle domain, etc.
